Project Location
The Taguibo Watershed is geographically situtated at 125°31'00" to 125°43'16" latitude and 8°158'00" to 9°05'34" longitude which covers an area of 12,438 ha. The majority of the watershed areas are within the administrative jurisdiction of Butuan City while the rest are located at the Municipalities of Agusan del Norte such as Remedios T. Romualdez, Cabadbaran and Magallanes and partly of Sibagat, Agusan del Sur. The area which consist of 4,367.44 ha was declared by Pres. Fidel V. Ramos as Taguibo Watershed Forest Reserve on September 4, 1997 through Proclamation No. 1076.
