(November 27, 2024)
Butuan City Water District (BCWD) forester Arnel Basnillo (center) explains the concept of BCWD’s Adopt-A-Forest Project to World Wide Foundation Sustainable Infrastructure Programme in Asia (WWF SIPA) on November 23, 2024 at BCWD Admin Building. Adopt-A-Forest Project in Taguibo River Watershed Forest Reserve is a 3-year tree planting and “parenting” project undertaken by BCWD which will serve as a model project for those individuals, institutions and organizations that would like to conduct tree planting activity and/or just donate or provide funds for one hectare or more hectares to be reforested in Taguibo River Watershed. Said project will be featured in the promotional video of Sustainable Infrastructure Programme in Asia (SIPA). The video production aims to educate and inspire different stakeholders on mainstreaming Nature-based Solutions (NBS) in infrastructure planning.
