This is a continuation of the Aftermath of Typhoon Seniang Article. Here, BCWD will also cite their long term plans.
Due to the adverse impact of the illegal activities, the Taguibo Watershed is now vulnerable to any type of natural or man-made calamities.
The resiliency of the watershed against natural or man-made calamities is now dwindling as evidently manifested by frequent occurrence of flashflood and drought during long dry spell.
An example of such calamity is the Tropical Storm Seniang on December 29, 2014 which caused great damage to the Taguibo Watershed.
Flashfloods and landslides from different areas within the watershed occurred particularly on the road upgrading of the Pianing-Tandag Road at Sitio Iyao to Sitio Tagkiling, Barangay Anticala.
