BCWD ADVISORY WATER STATUS UPDATE (09/28/2023 as of 7:20 PM)
(09/28/2023 as of 7:20 PM)
The Butuan City Water District (BCWD) would like to inform its consuming public that it has improved its water supply and increased system pressure in Brgy. San Vicente as a result of the substantial completion of its relocation of the 10-inch diameter steel pipeline at the bridge near the COA Regional Office, Brgy. Villa Kananga last September 21, 2023.
Brgy. San Vicente is now a 24/7 water supply area with an average pressure of 4.87 psi.
BCWD conducted water pressure monitoring after completion of relocation works. On September 24, 2023 at 1:00 AM, the highest water pressure at Brgy. San Vicente was recorded reaching 10.02 psi. In comparison before the conduct of relocation work last September 20, 2023 at 1:00 AM, Brgy. San Vicente recorded a water pressure of only 6.41 psi.
Due to a long period of low water pressure to no water in the area, water quality problems may occur. Please report any water quality problems to BCWD.
