BCWD ADVISORY WATER STATUS UPDATE (09/16/2023 as of 10:30AM)

The Butuan City Water District (BCWD) would like to inform its consuming public that the entire service area is experiencing low water pressure to no water situation as its bulk water supplier - the Taguibo Aquatech Solutions Corporation (TASC) - has just reduced its water supply. The reduction of supply from TASC is due to low stream flow brought about by the low precipitation experienced in Taguibo Watershed.
As such, most areas are experiencing low water pressure to no water situation. Areas like San Vicente, Villa Kananga, part of Libertad, Ambago to Lumbocan and Masao, and other end points of the water system and elevated areas like Bonbon, Bancasi, Pinamanculan and Dumalagan are experiencing no water situation.
Rest assured BCWD will coordinate closely with TASC to provide updates as to the status of BCWD's water supply.
