BCWD ADVISORY WATER STATUS UPDATE (09/14/2023 as of 09:30AM)

The Butuan City Water District (BCWD) would like to inform its consuming public that the entire service area will experience low water pressure to waterless situation as its bulk water supplier - the Taguibo Aquatech Solutions Corporation (TASC) - will reduce its water supply from 50MLD to 40MLD starting 11:00AM of September 14, 2023. The reduction of supply from TASC is due to low stream flow brought about by the low precipitation experienced in Butuan City.
As such, most areas will experience low water pressure to no water situation. Areas like San Vicente, Villa Kananga, part of Libertad, Ambago to Lumbocan and Masao, and other end points of the water system and elevated areas like Bonbon, Bancasi, Pinamanculan and Dumalagan will experience waterless situation.
Rest assured BCWD will coordinate closely with TASC to provide updates as to the status of BCWD's water supply.
