New Member Representing the Business Sector of the BCWD Board of Directors Takes Oath

The newest member of the Butuan City Water District (BCWD) Board of Directors took oath administered by Butuan City Mayor, Honorable Ronnie C. Vicente Lagnada, on September 4, 2023 at the Boardroom of the BCWD Administration Building. This was witnessed by Atty. Dennis M. Bacala, Chairman of the Board, Vice Chair Horacio T. Santos, Directors Carmenchu B. Vicente and Engr. Ronaldo C. Montero, and the General Manager - Engr. John Michael Y. Benito.
Mr. Leonardo G. Yu will represent the Business Sector and will serve the unexpired term of Director Robert R. Ty effective from the date of appointment – August 23, 2023 to December 31, 2028, following the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 198, otherwise known as the Provincial Water Utilities Act of 1973, as amended, and Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) Memorandum Circular 005.16 dated June 6, 2016.
