BCWD UPDATE: ENSURING CONTINUOUS WATER SERVICE AMIDST COVID-19 PANDEMIC (June 2, 2020)

BCWD upgrades pipeline in Brgy. Maug and Brgy. Banza

Butuan City Water District (BCWD) is currently upgrading its pipeline in Brgy. Maug and Brgy. Banza. The project entails 2.1km long of 4” diameter pipes to replace the existing 1” diameter pipes that traverse from Brgy. Maug to Brgy. Banza. This new pipeline will improve water supply in the two barangays.

Upon completion of the project, approximately 100 households in said barangays will experience continuous water supply. It is expected that residents in these areas will religiously practice proper hygiene, particularly hand washing, to get rid of COVID-19. Hence, water is very essential especially that we are battling with COVID-19 pandemic, in which our only defense against invisible enemies is hand washing to wipe them out.

Meanwhile, concessionaires can check their water bill through online billing by accessing the online billing services of BCWD at its official website www.bcwd.gov.ph/obi/.

For those applying for new water connection can access the online application and seminar for new connection at the BCWD official website at www.bcwd.gov.ph/nsc to minimize the congestion of people visiting the office of BCWD.
