BCWD OPENS TO RECEIVE PAYMENT AND CONTINUE WITH NEW SERVICE CONNECTION AND RECONNECTION WHILE EXTENDING PAYMENT PERIOD AND WAIVING OF PENALTIES FOR RECEIVED BILLING UP TO MARCH 18, 2020
The Butuan City Water District (BCWD) wishes to inform its consuming public that due to insistent public demand, BCWD will open to accept bills payment starting March 21, 2020, Saturday. The collection schedule for Monday and Tuesday will be from 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., with no noon break while collection schedule for Wednesday – Friday will continue at 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. For Saturday, BCWD will only be open tomorrow, March 21, 2020, 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. There will be no collection for the Saturdays after, until resumption of the normal operations of the District.
To avoid congestion at the BCWD Administration Building, BCWD will continue with the EXTENDED PAYMENT PERIOD and NO SURCHARGES for water bills delivered and received by concessionaires up to March 18, 2020 with due dates from March 19, 2020 – April 19, 2020.
Disconnection of water services is still temporarily suspended and will resume on April 20, 2020 while seminars for new connection will be done online or through one-on-one.
