BCWD COMPLETES WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR WATERSHED COMMUNITY

Butuan City Water District (BCWD) completed the construction of the potable water system facility at Sitio Mahayahay, Anticala, Butuan City.
Sitio Mahayahay is one of the upper most communities in the Taguibo River Forest Reserve (TRWFR). It has a population of more than 500 individuals, who will benefit from said water system facility. The partner-community will now have easy access to safe and potable water.
Sitio Mahayahay dwellers are BCWD's partners in the protection and rehabilitation of the depleted Taguibo Watershed.
The project was completed at a total cost of Php675,000.00 Php525,000.00 was funded by BCWD while Php150,000.00 was donated by Luntiaw Mindanao Incorporated.
