Butuan City Water District (BCWD) has just started normal operation of its newly completed water reservoir in Brgy. Bit-os, Butuan City.

BCWD started construction last year of the 8M peso reservoir in a 1,000 sq.m. lot in Bit-os that is owned by Butuan-LGU. The city government granted usufruct rights to BCWD for the use of the lot.

BCWD OPERATION REMAINS NORMAL

Butuan City Water District (BCWD) operation remained normal after a magnitude 6.4 earthquake jolted Mindanao last night.

It was felt here in Butuan City but of lesser intensity. It did not damage the BCWD’s facilities.

Concessionaires are assured of continuous water supply in their faucets except for few areas having scheduled water interruption.

The City Environment & Natural Resources Office (CENRO) donated today eight sacks of assorted Dipterocarp seeds to Butuan City Water District BCWD). The ceremonial turn-over of the seeds took place at the BCWD Board Room with GM Anselmo Sang Tian receiving the donation.

The eight sacks contain about 20,000 pieces of seeds. These seeds will be propagated at the BCWD Nursery in Mahayahay, Anticala, Butuan City. These...

BCWD recently completed the 4th quarter water quiz show

The final instalment of the Butuan City Water District (BCWD) Quarterly Water Quiz Show was conducted last September 30, 2019, 9:00 a.m. for the elementary level and 2:00 p.m. for the jr. high school level at the BCWD Training Hall. A total of 18 elementary and 16 junior high school students participated in the said contest.
