Timbercity Foundation Gospel Church Children Tour to BCWD Facilities

Children of Timbercity Foundation Gospel Church toured to the Butuan City Water District (BCWD) facilities on October 10, 2015. Before the tour, they were briefed on the present situation of water supply for them to understand what is really happening to the operation of BCWD. Also discussed in the briefing was the importance and the current state of the Taguibo Watershed for the children to be aware where the water in the faucets comes from and be conscious in the proper use of water; thereby, helping conserve water and the source of water. They proceeded to the Filtration Plant in Taguibo for them to see how water is being processed before it comes out in the faucets.
