Butuan City Water District (BCWD) shut off operation of its Pump Station No. 1 at 12:00mn (December 2, 2023) due to the earthquake and aftershocks we experienced last night.
Those located at endpoints of the water system and elevated areas experience low water pressure to no water situation.
At press time, BCWD personnel are evaluating the impact of the earthquake with magnitude 6.9. If no damage to be found, operation of Pump Station No. 1 will resume at 10:00AM.
