BCWD ADVISORY WATER STATUS UPDATE (09/14/2023 as of 2:00PM)

Water pressure at Pump Station No. 1 is 46psi with 40 MLD of water supply from Butuan City Water District's (BCWD) partner-bulk water supplier, Taguibo Aquatech Solutions Corporation (TASC). Latest report from TASC provides that the reason for the forced reduction of the water supply volume from 50MLD to 40MLD is due to the low stream flow brought about by the low precipitation experienced in Butuan City.
As such, most areas will still experience low water pressure to no water situation. Areas like San Vicente, Villa Kananga, part of Libertad, Ambago to Lumbocan and Masao, and other end points of the water system and elevated areas like Bonbon, Bancasi, Pinamanculan and Dumalagan are still experiencing waterless situation.
Rest assured BCWD will coordinate closely with TASC to provide updates as to the status of BCWD's water supply.
