ANECO recognizes BCWD’s Contribution as Partner Stakeholder

Agusan Del Norte Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ANECO) recognized Butuan City Water District (BCWD) by giving a Plaque of Recognition during the cooperative’s annual general membership assembly on September 24, 2022.
Anchored on the theme: “Leaving No One Behind: Achieving Social Equitability through Rural Electrification and Empowerment of Filipino Communities,” this year’s annual gathering highlighted with the awarding of plaques for partner stakeholders and top 10 large load consumers.
BCWD was awarded as Outstanding Partner Stakeholder for the Year 2021 for its unwavering support in ANECO’s pursuit of its CSR commitment, as demonstrated in their partnership agreement which is the Adopt-A-Forest Program. BCWD entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with ANECO on August 24, 2022 for a one (1) hectare Adopt-A-Forest project in TRWFR. This is the 3rd time that BCWD and ANECO partnered in the reforestation project of BCWD in TRWFR.
ANECO recognizes the importance of partnerships in addressing the various needs in the field of rural electrification program and in keeping the positive impact on outcome for the member-consumer-owners (MCOs) as a focus of empowerment advocacy.
Receiving the award was BCWD general manager Anselmo L. Sang Tian.
