"The Taguibo Water Quality Management Area was established to protect, thru stakeholders collaboration, the water body and its tributaries by keeping their water quality within the water quality guidelines conforming to the water body's classification or even improve the quality to high classification," Engr. Renato Tacubao of Environmental Management Bureau said in this morning's Watershed Symposium at Mahayahay.

"Executive Order No. 23, issued on Feb. 1, 2016, declares a moratorium on the cutting and harvesting of timber in the natural and residual forests and creating the anti-illegal logging task force," Forester Rosemarie Adobas of CENRO-Nasipit explained during this morning's BCWD Watershed Symposium at Mahayahay, Anticala.
