WATER STATUS UPDATE BCWD Suspends Water Rationing Activities (May 4, 2026 6:00 PM)

The Butuan City Water District (BCWD) informs its concessionaires that, as of May 4, 2026, the total water supply has reached 60.88 million liters per day (MLD). BCWD is now operating within normal levels.

‎In view of this improvement, water rationing operations via tanker services and Oplan Sag-ob will be suspended effective May 5, 2026.

‎Ongoing Vigilance:
‎While supply conditions have improved, an El Niño Alert remains in effect. BCWD will continue strict 24/7 system monitoring. We urge all Barangay Councils and residents to remain prepared and to continue practicing water conservation, as a second wave of dry conditions may still occur.

‎Service Status for Specific Areas:
‎The following areas will revert to their original service schedules (Low Pressure/No Water – LPNW):
‎San Vicente Horizon, Masao, Lumbocan, Bonbon, and Bancasi.

‎For Inquiries:
‎BCWD is available from Monday to Sunday through the following channels:
