ADVISORY Temporary Suspension of Water Works Activities on January 17-18, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday)

Butuan City Water District (BCWD) informs the public that there will be a temporary moratorium / suspension of all water works, excavation, repairs, and related activities along roads leading to the Sto. Niño Church in Barangay Libertad on January 17-18, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday).
This temporary suspension is being implemented to give way to the celebration of the Kahimunan Festival and to ensure the smooth flow of religious and cultural activities, public safety, and unimpeded movement of devotees, motorists, and festival participants.
Scope of Suspension
• All BCWD water works and road-related activities
• Affected areas: Roads and access routes leading to Sto. Niño Church, Brgy. Libertad
• Duration: Whole day of January 17-18, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday)
Normal water works operations will resume immediately after the said date, unless otherwise announced.
