REMINDER ON THE ADJUSTMENT OF INSTALLATION FEES FOR NEW SERVICE CONNECTIONS (September 3, 2025 3:00 PM)

The Butuan City Water District (BCWD) reminds its consuming public that, effective September 1, 2025, the installation fee for new service connections has been adjusted in line with the implementation of the New Standard Water Service Connection Assembly. Rates will now vary depending on the number of meters per cluster:
From the current fee of 3,500.00, the new rates are as follows:
6,817.50 for a grouping of 10 water meters
6,164.50 for a cluster of 2 water meters
This new clustering system was adopted to enhance water supply, ensure accurate billing, and minimize system losses, part of continuing commitment to improved service and operational efficiency.
Applicants who have already submitted their water meters for calibration and testing on or before August 29, 2025, are reminded to complete their application for a new service connection on or before September 11, 2025 to avail of the old rate of 3,500.00. After this date, the revised rates will strictly apply.
