ADVISORY Discontinuation of Personal Check Payments Effective August 18, 2025

The Butuan City Water District (BCWD) informs all concessionaires and stakeholders that starting August 18, 2025, personal checks will no longer be accepted as a mode of payment for water bills.
This policy is part of our effort to streamline the payment process, prevent clearance delays, and ensure more secure and efficient financial transactions.
We encourage customers to use the following alternative payment methods:
• Manager’s Check, Corporate Check, or Cash at the BCWD Collection Office
• Over-the-counter cash payments at authorized payment centers
• Mobile and digital payments via GCash, Maya, and ECPay Merchant Partners
