The Butuan City Water District (BCWD) informs all concessionaires that the delivery volume from its bulk water supplier has shown significant improvement. This is due to better hydrological conditions at the Taguibo Watershed in Sitio Iyao, Brgy. Anticala, where several days of rainfall have been recorded.
The water supply volume from BCWD bulk water supplier as of August 15, 2025 is at 58MLD while BCWD’s water supply from its Pumps Stations is at 6.91 MLD for a total water supply (from bulk water supplier and BCWD) at 64.94MLD. BCWD is operating above normal at 115%.
BCWD continues to advise all customers to store enough water for at least three (3) days, replenishing daily while supply is available at your taps.
