ADVISORY: NOTICE OF ADJUSTMENT IN INSTALLATION FEE FOR NEW SERVICE CONNECTIONS (August 5, 2025)

The Butuan City Water District (BCWD) informs the consuming public that, effective September 1, 2025, the installation fee for new service connections will be adjusted in accordance with the new standard water service connection assembly, which varies depending on the number of connections per cluster:
• From the current fee of 3,500.00, the revised rates will be:
- 6,817.50 per connection for a meter grouping of 10 to 20 water meters
- 6,164.50 per connection for a cluster of 2 water meters
This adjustment was approved through BCWD Board Resolution No. 0025-2024, dated June 19, 2024. The increase reflects the current market costs of materials such as P.E. tubes, fittings, and other components, as well as associated labor charges.
BCWD encourages interested applicants for new service connections to avail of the current rate of 3,500.00 until August 31, 2025, before the new rates take effect.
