BCWD General Manager Attends Oath-taking Ceremony of Butuan City Officials
In a show of continued support for the local government, Butuan City Water District (BCWD) General Manager John Michael Y. Benito attended the Oath-taking Ceremony of the newly elected city officials on June 30, 2025. The event was held at the Father Saturnino Urios University (FSUU) Gymnasium and gathered various stakeholders from the public and private sectors.
The occasion formally ushered in the new administration of the City Government of Butuan, with the swearing-in of the newly elected Mayor, Vice Mayor, and members of the City Council. The ceremony was graced by local government employees, representatives from national agencies, civic leaders, non-government organizations, and key figures from the business and utilities sector.
GM Benito’s attendance signified BCWD’s commitment to strengthening inter-agency collaboration in the pursuit of efficient public service delivery, particularly in the area of sustainable water supply and resource management.
