BCWD interconnects newly installed 4-inch diameter uPVC pipeline to mainline
at Brgy. Buhangin
Butuan City Water District (BCWD) has interconnected its newly installed 4-inch diameter uPVC pipeline to mainline at Brgy. Buhangin.
The project entails 600m long of 4-inch diameter pipes to replace the existing 2-inch diameter pipes that traverse from Brgy. Buhangin to Brgy. Mahay. The old pipes were found to be the cause of low water pressure most of the time in Brgy. Mahay.
More than 1,000 households in the two barangays will experience continuous water supply. Water is very essential especially that we are battling with COVID-19 pandemic, in which our only defense against invisible enemies is hand washing to wipe them out.
Meanwhile, concessionaires are reminded that BCWD is implementing online billing inquiry. For concessionaires to be updated in their current billing, please access the online billing services of BCWD at its official website www.bcwd.gov.ph/obi/.
